The programme aims to involve young professionals in policymaking, encourage innovation in government schemes and independently assess programme performance.
The programme provides for 50 Fellows to work in the Chief Minister’s Office or departments assigned by it. Fellows also receive orientation, an Experience Certificate after six months and a Completion Certificate at the end.
Candidates must be aged up to 28 years as on 1 January 2026. They must hold either a postgraduate degree with at least 65% marks or a professional bachelor’s degree in a field such as Engineering, Medicine, CA, CS or Law.
